Pekka was honored by the Pinstripe Legends with a Life Time Achievement Award at the 2016 Milwaukee World of Wheels. He is the first international artist to be given this award.
He is a custom painter and artist from Finland. His art combines airbrush and pinstripe brushes. He has applied his art to canvas and metal. He has perfected full car restoration and customization.
He is an author, publisher and instructor sharing his knowledge and his continuous search of Old Kool stuff.
We will talking with him about his experience here in the USA. AND we will discuss the laws that effect custom cars and hot rods in Finland.

The Pinstripe Legends is a group of pinstripers, sign guys and artists that gather each winter at the Milwaukee World of Wheels to make pinstripe art and kustom kulture art which they then auction off at the show for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Pinstripe Legends was started in 2002 by Ray Drea, head of styling at Harley-Davidson, Barry Quakenbush, of Berry’s Signs and Dave Jeffrey of Delevan – all top–notch pinstripers and artists. With the help of Bob Behounek, pinstriper, traditional sign painter, author and educator, Morgan McArthur, speaker, calligrapher, hand letterer, Del Swanson, rock-star artist and many others they have helped bring pinstriping forward as an art form.
So-far they have donated over $500,000 to Children’s Hospital.

Most of us have come to know Ted Vernon as the guy on Discovery’s TV show “South Beach Classics”. Along with his lovely dove – Robin Vernon – they own and operate Florida’s largest classic car store. The show follows Ted negotiating the selling, buying and trading of cool rides. Robin takes care of their massive facility, providing assessments of car values and occasionally negotiating her own deals.

By special invitation the guys and I will be presenting a 5000 square foot exhibit of some of our finest work, in our own hall, at the 2016 Automobile Dealers Association of Mega Milwaukee Auto Show. “The Greater Milwaukee Auto Show” February 20ththrough the 28th, produced by Motor Trend Magazine.
